I have always had a passion for the sweet science of boxing. I am a USA Boxing licensed coach and professional boxing manager. I hold a ISSA Personal Training Certification. I love to help new boxers as well as professional boxers reach their highest potential through mentorship, nutrition, supplementation, job placement and even financial support.

I spent six years of hands on studying at Windy City MMA, Boxing Inc., Champion Jiu Jitsu, New Breed Jiu Jitsu and Degerberg Academy of Martial Arts leaving me highly skilled and well trained in boxing, self-defense, Jeet Kune Do (Bruce Lee’s martial art), Judo Savate (French Kick-Boxing), Silat, Kali (stick fighting), knife fighting and Wing Chun. I wrestled at Harper College and also trained with seven time World Champion, Robinson Moura in Jiu Jitsu, heavyweight World Champion, Duke Roufous in Thai Boxing and with the legendary Pat Miletich at MFS in Bettendorf, Iowa. I've also attended multiple seminars given by World Shoot fighting Champion, Ron Balicki. I have competed in MMA, Thai Boxing, Kick Boxing and Boxing. I was a 2011 & 2014 Chicago Golden Gloves Heavyweight Semi-Finalist.

From the age of 3 years old on, my life was consumed with the sport of gymnastics. I competed as a USGF gymnast and as a varsity gymnast all four years at Libertyville High School. I spent the majority of my time in the gymnastics gym and loved every minute of it. After that concluded I transitioned all of my workouts to a regular gym (which was not nearly as fun) and began running. I worked 15+ years in the fitness industry and met some amazing people, one of which being my husband, Larry Lentz. I trained a running club for several years and loved helping improve veteran runners as well as helping non-runners become runners. I've completed several cycling races, century rides, marathons, half marathons & triathlons. I will soon be working on my new goal of completing a Half Ironman. I have also become a huge fan of hot yoga, particularly Power Vinyasa classes. It is a great complement to all of my other tough workouts and provides some time for balance and mental clarity which is rare with the chaos of raising our two young boys, Charlie & Jack.

In 2008, I started my amateur boxing career in a small gym in Waukegan. I competed in the Chicago Golden Gloves in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and was the Super Heavyweight Chicago Golden Gloves Champion in 2012. I also competed in the National Golden Gloves in 2011 and 2012. In 2013, I turned Pro and signed a promotional contract with local boxing promoter, Bobby Hitz. I maintain an undefeated record and increase my world ranking each time I step into the ring. My ultimate goal is to be Heavyweight World Champion and I will keep working until I get there. I teach Boxing, Cross Training and Sports Conditioning specializing in student athletes of all sports.

I coached both the Arizona State University and University of Arizona Boxing Clubs 1995-2001. In that period I had over 300 fighters enter the ring and compete in USA Boxing sanctioned events. While coaching the kids at his gym in Phoenix, I also competed in and won the Toughman Contest several times, Ultimate Boxing Contest, Rage in the Cage, King of the Ring and many other elimination fights. I moved from Arizona to Illinois to be closer to my parents who both had terminal cancer. While in Illinois I trained for and competed in the Ironman Competition in Madison, Wisconsin and many other long distance events including century rides, marathons and even the World Famous 50 kilometer ski race, the Birkenbinder. I entered the United States Navy after September 11, 2001, and have proudly served ever since. I was certified by the military to perform as the Command Fitness Leader. I am a USA Boxing certified coach. With my unique background I crafted my own style of fitness that is one of a kind and works for all fitness levels.
